dc.description.abstractEl Caribe Colombiano ha tenido un incremento en las actividades de perforación de pozos exploratorios costa afuera en los últimos años, pues se pretende lograr un aumento significativo en las reservas de hidrocarburos y garantizar la autosuficiencia energética. Puesto que es un tema que hasta hace pocos años tomó fuerza, en Colombia no se cuenta con la suficiente legislación que rija estas actividades para la protección del medio ambiente. Es por esto, que es necesario realizar un análisis en las actividades que generen mayor impacto ambiental en el ecosistema marino como lo es la generación de residuos industriales de perforación y vertimiento de estos mismos. Con el fin de alcanzar los objetivos de este trabajo, se analizó el estado mecánico, los programas de lodos y el tratamiento y vertimiento de cortes y lodos de perforación para cada uno de los pozos de estudio. Posterior a esto se analizó el comportamiento ambiental teniendo en cuenta algunos aspectos ambientales como los cambios fisicoquímicos del agua, del aire y del lecho marino, así como el comportamiento de las comunidades marinas en los lugares de vertimiento de residuos de perforación. Además, se presenta una matriz, en donde se logra identificar que tan significativos son cada uno de los posibles impactos que puedan generarse debido a la actividad de disposición de cortes y fluidos de perforación. Por último, se establecen algunas recomendaciones para un manejo adecuado en el tratamiento y disposición de los residuos de perforación.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe Colombian Caribbean has had an increase in the activities of exploratory offshore drilling in recent years, thus intends to achieve a sifnificant increase in the reserves of hydrocarbons and ensure enegyself-sufficiency. Since it is a subject that until a few years ago took strength, in Colombia there isn´t sufficient legislation governing these activities for the protection of the environment. That´s why it is necessary to perform an analysison activities. That generate greater environmental impacto on the marine ecosystem as the generation of industrial wastes of drilling-pouring of these same. In order to achieve the objectives of this work is analyzing the mechanical condition, mud programs and treatment and dumping of sludge and cuts and drilling muds to each of the Wells of study. This will analyze environmental performance taking into account environmental aspects like changes physico-chemical wáter, air and the seafloor, as well as the behavior of the marine communities in the places of dumping o waste drilling, also presents a matrix, where is achieved to identify as significant are each of the posible impacts that can a rise due to the activity of available cuts and drilling fluids finally settle some recommendations for use in the treatment and disposal of waste from drilling.
