dc.descriptionThe War of the Pacific is one of the most important war events in Latin America, as its impact generated a transformation in the geography of this part of the continent. There are several studies that have analysed this event focusing on its main causes. For the Peruvian side, the Chileans were the aggressors, nevertheless, in this work we set that Peru caused the military confrontation through the measures ordered by the National Parliament which accelerated the conflict and included Bolivia as a third actor.Keywords: War of the Pacific, Peru, Chile, Peruvian history, Parliamenten-US
dc.descriptionLa guerra del Pacífico, es uno de los eventos bélicos más importantes en América Latina. Su impacto produjo un serio cambio en la geografía de esta parte del continente. Sobre ella han existido diversos libros que se han dedicado en estudiarla, para saber las causas determinantes de su nacimiento. Para el lado peruano, son los chilenos quienes fueron los agresores naturales. En el presente trabajo deseamos establecer que fue el Perú, el causante principal de esta confrontación militar, a través de las medidas dictadas por su Parlamento Nacional, el cual aceleró el proceso de enfrentamiento, que tuvo un tercer invitado: Bolivia.Palabras Clave: Guerra del Pacífico, Perú, Chile, Historia peruana, Parlamento Político  es-ES
