dc.description.abstractLa implementación del Sistema Globalmente Armonizado y Etiquetado de Productos Químicos (SGA) en el sector industrial entró en vigencia desde el 6 de agosto de 2018 con el Decreto 1496; la adaptación de los laboratorios es un requisito en materia de seguridad química y de salud a los trabajadores. En este trabajo se llevó a cabo la implementación del SGA en el laboratorio de calidad de la empresa ABA, la metodología usada se basó en la actualización del inventario químico, fichas de seguridad, control sobre las sustancias, almacenamiento según compatibilidades, análisis de riesgos en los procedimientos y etiquetado de residuos peligrosos. Finalmente, se adoptó el SGA y se capacitó el personal de trabajo familiarizándolo con los peligros y precauciones en el manejo, almacenamiento y disposición de residuos.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe implementation of the Globally Harmonized System and Labeling of Chemical Products (SGA) in the industrial sector came into effect on August 6, 2018 with Decree 1496; the adaptation of laboratories is a requirement in terms of chemical safety and health for workers. In this work, the implementation of the SGA was carried out in the quality laboratory of the ABA company, the methodology used was based on the updating of the chemical inventory, safety data sheets, control over substances, storage according to compatibility, risk analysis in procedures and management of hazardous waste. Finally, the SGA was adopted and the work personnel were trained, familiarizing them with the dangers and precautions in the handling, storage and disposal of waste.
