dc.description.abstractLa Escuela de Ingeniería Agronómica del Instituto Universitario de la Paz está presente en la zona del Magdalena Medio Santandereano, zona principalmente de vocación agropecuaria y en donde existe una heterogeneidad cultural y la mayoría de los estudiantes son de escasos recursos económicos y en donde la formación que han recibido es básicamente tradicionalista y en donde el concepto de competencia aún no se ha desarrollado o es muy incipiente. Las competencias están referidas básicamente a la capacidad de las personas de un saber hacer dentro de un contexto específico, no siendo indiferente esta acepción para los futuros Ingenieros Agrónomos que se están formando en la Escuela de Ingeniería Agronómica del Instituto Universitario de la Paz de Barrancabermeja. Las competencias que fueron evaluadas a los profesionales próximos a graduarse en las primeras pruebas de estado o exámenes calidad de la educación superior, ECAES, para Ingeniería Agronómica tenían que ver específicamente con el conocer y relacionar, interactuar con terceras personas, saber explicar fenómenos u hechos, saber buscar o plantear nuevas soluciones, saber estar en sociedad, saber tener una actitud crítica ante el conocimiento y saber construir conocimiento a partir de las experiencias.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe School of Agronomic Engineering of the Instituto Universitario de la Paz is located in the Magdalena's Media area Santandereano, area mainly of agricultural vocation and where a cultural heterogeneity exits and most of the students are scarce economic resources and where the formation that they have received is basically traditionalist and where the competition concept has not still been developed or it is very incipient. The competitions are referred to the capacity of people of a knowledge basically to make inside a specific context, not being indifferent this meaning for the future Agricultural Engineers that are being formed in the School of Agronomic Engineering of the Instituto Universitario de la Paz of Barrancabermeja. The competitions that were evaluated the next professionals to graduate in the first state tests or exams quality of the superior education, ECAES, for Agronomic Engineering had to do specifically with the to know and to relate, interaction with third people, to know how to explain phenomena or facts, to know how to look for to outline new solutions, to know how to be in society, to know how to have a critical attitude before the knowledge and how to built knowledge starting from the experiences.
