dc.description.abstractEn la actualidad, la necesidad de suplir la demanda energética que ha venido aumentado con el tiempo, ha hecho que el mundo se vea en la necesidad de empezar a explorar en el mar con el fin de encontrar nuevas reservas probadas de hidrocarburos, razón por la que se ha empezado a fomentar e impulsar la exploración y explotación de hidrocarburos en mar abierto (operaciones offshore). Por ello uno de los objetivos de este trabajo es estudiar y comprender los posibles impactos ambientales y sociales que se dan en el momento de iniciar y poner en marcha un proyecto de transporte de gas en mar abierto desde el yacimiento, hasta tierra firme en este caso sería desde el pozo Kronos-1 hasta el puerto de Barranquilla. Por eso para la realización de lo anteriormente mencionado, fue necesario empezar hacer un estudio tomando como referencia proyectos de este tipo en otras partes del mundo, debido a que Colombia es un país nuevo en el tema y este tipo de proyectos nunca se han realizado; pero en este análisis también se incluyó un análisis financiero con el fin de determinar cuál es el mejor medio de transporte (buque y gasoducto) para transportar el gas. *
dc.description.abstractenglishAt present, the need to supply the energy demand that has increased over time, has led the world to see the need to begin to explore at sea in order to find new proven reserves of hydrocarbons, which is why it has begun to promote and encourage the exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons in the open sea (offshore operations). Therefore, one of the objectives of this work is to study and understand the possible environmental and social impacts that occur at the time of initiating and starting up a project for transporting gas in the open sea from the field to the mainland, in this case from the Kronos-1 well to the port of Barranquilla. Therefore, in order to carry out the above, it was necessary to begin a study taking as a reference projects of this type in other parts of the world, due to the fact that Colombia is a new country in the subject and this type of projects have never been carried out; but this analysis also included a financial analysis in order to determine which is the best means of transport (ship and gas pipeline) to transport the gas. *
