| dc.description.abstract | El temor esta presente en diversas situaciones de la vida cotidiana, los procedimientos quirúrgicos constituyen solo una de ellas, el temor permite al ser humano prepararse para defender su vida en caso de ser necesario, bien sea para huir o para luchar. El diagnóstico de enfermería Temor fue enunciado por primera vez en 1973 en la primera conferencia de diagnósticos de enfermería, en 1980 fue definido y contaba con unacaracterística definitoria, luego en los años 1996 y 2000 fue revisado nuevamente y se definió como la respuesta a la percepción de una amenaza que es reconocida conscientemente como peligro, asignándosele 4 grupos de características definitorias para su identificación, Informes verbales, Cognitivas, conductuales y fisiológicas para un total de 31 características definitorias.Objetivo. Determinar la eficacia de las intervenciones de enfermería en personas que van a ser sometidas a un procedimiento quirúrgico.Materiales y Métodos: Ensayo Clínico Controlado (ECC). La muestra fue de 50 personas (27 intervenidas y 23 de comparación). Se compararon los puntajes de las evaluaciones iniciales y finales obtenidas en las etiquetas control del temor y conocimientos: procedimientos terapéuticos por medio del análisis de covarianza (ANCOVA)Resultados: Se encontró una diferencia en la etiqueta de control de temor de 0.84 y una diferencia en la etiqueta de conocimientos: procedimientos terapéutico de 0.38 estadísticamente | |
