dc.description.abstractDel conocimiento de las condiciones socio-económicas y culturales del Municipio de tibú, que poseen los autores por ser naturales y vecinos de este, se desarrolla la idea de negocio para la creación de una empresa prestadora del servicio de transporte de carga, en especial dirigido al sector productor de palma de aceite, teniendo en cuenta que es el renglón de la economía con mayor crecimiento en el municipio y con proyección a futuro; se requiere un servicio de calidad que responda a las expectativas de los usuarios frente a las condiciones del actual servicio, la idea se fundamentó en la inexistencia de una empresa de transporte de carga legalmente constituida y habilitada por el Ministerio de Transporte para la prestación del servicio y la necesidad imperante de un servicio de transporte de carga que cumpla con las condiciones específicas requeridas por el sector y los usuarios. Para determinar la viabilidad técnica y financiera de la idea de negocio, se elaboró el estudio de pre factibilidad, identificando las condiciones del sector, las variables del mercado potencial y objetivo, de esta manera se estimó la demanda y la oferta del servicio en las condiciones actuales, adicionalmente, con los resultados del estudio de mercado, se proyectó la necesidad de inversión en vehículos, equipos y personal y demás conceptos técnicos necesarios para la operación de la empresa, se presentan elementos básicos del estudio organizacional y se realizó un análisis detallado de las normas que rigen el servicio ofrecido, finalmente se hizo la evaluación financiera del proyecto para establecer su rentabilidad en el horizonte de tiempo de evaluación del proyecto.
