dc.descriptionEste trabajo pretende identificar los temas fundamentales del pensamiento estético de Gramsci, tal como aparecen en los Cuadernos de la cárcel, y examinar en qué medida pueden incorporarse a los debates contemporáneos sobre arte y política (esto último por la vía de la comparación con el conjunto de su obra). Se trata de un estudio preliminar que no pretende ofrecer una ―por naturaleza discutible― exposición completa de su estética. No obstante, la atención específica a las reflexiones de Gramsci sobre arte puede también contribuir a matizar en general algunas interpretaciones establecidas de su filosofía, centradas en el desarrollo de estrategias políticas.es-ES
dc.descriptionThis article intends to summarize the main questions of Gramsci's aesthetic thinking, examining how these can be articulated with wider contemporary debates on art and politics (by comparison with the whole of his philosophy). This is a preliminary study that does not intend to offer any ―arguable-by-nature― general interpretation of Gramscian aesthetics. It is contended, however, that examining Gramsci's reflections on art may contribute to rethink some established interpretations of his philosophy, mainly focused in developing political strategies.en-US
