dc.description.abstractLa información que fue plasmada en esta guía metodológica constituye parte de un esfuerzo convenio entre la Universidad Industrial de Santander UIS y el Instituto colombiano de Normas Técnicas y Certificación ICONTEC, quienes se interesaron en mostrar una herramienta para el diseño e implementación del Sistema de gestión de calidad, basado en la NTC ISO 9001:2008 para empresas de Transporte Terrestre de Carga Pesada. El objetivo de este documento fue presentar una metodológica para el diseño e implementación de un Sistema de gestión de Calidad (SGC), basado en la NTC ISO 9001:2008 de manera práctica, sencilla y ordenada, y dirigido a las empresas de transporte terrestre de carga pesada; quienes se han visto enfrentadas a los cambios y requerimientos del mercado, que cada vez es más exigente en la elaboración de sus productos y en la prestación de sus servicios, para satisfacer las necesidades y expectativas de los clientes y a su vez para obtener ventajas que le permitan diferenciarse de la competencia. Se pretendió con la elaboración de esta guía metodológica, que cada uno de los lectores, ya sean profesionales de calidad, gerentes, líderes, estudiantes y personas en general, se interesaran por implementar un SGC en sus empresas de transporte terrestre de carga pesada. Esta metodología está organizada en cinco etapas, para que el lector identifique con mayor facilidad el progreso que va obteniendo a medida que se va implementando dicho sistema de gestión. Primera etapa: Situación actual y el funcionamiento general del sector de transporte, Segunda etapa: Metodología para la planificación del SGC, Tercera etapa: Herramientas para la ejecución del SGC, Cuarta etapa: Mecanismos que permitan una apropiada evaluación del SGC, Quinta etapa: Metodología para el diseño de acciones de mejora.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe information that was embodied in this methodological guide is part of a clustered effort of two students in the program "Specialization in Integral management of quality" of the agreement between the Universidad Industrial de Santander - UIS and the Colombian Institute of technical standards and certification - ICONTEC, who became interested in show a tool for the design and implementation of the quality management system based on the NTC-ISO 9001:2008 for heavy load transportation companies. The objective of this document was to present a methodology for the design and implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS), based on the NTC-ISO 9001:2008 in practical, simple and orderly, and directed to the companies of heavy freight transport; those who have been faced with changes and requirements of the market, that is becoming more demanding in the development of its products and in the provisión of its services, to meet the needs and expectations of customers and at the same time to obtain advantages so you can differentiate yourself from the competition. It is intended with the elaboration of the methodological, that each of the readers Guide, whether they are quality professionals, managers, leaders, students and people in general, interested in implementing a QMS in their companies of inland transportation of heavy load. This methodology is organized into five phases, so that the reader identify more easily the progress is getting to this management system will be implemented. First stage: Situation and the general operation of the transport sector, second stage: Methodology for the planning of the QMS, third stage: Tools for the implementation of the QMS, fourth stage: Mechanisms that allow an appropriate assessment of the QMS, fifth stage: Methodology for the design of actions to improve.
