| dc.description | introducción: La ergonomía puede contribuir al diseño de puestos, entornos y sistemas para hacerlos compatibles con las necesidades, capacidades y limitaciones de las personas. Como respuesta a lasnecesidades actuales y al desafío que tienen los diseñadores y ergónomos de facilitar y mejorar la calidadde vida de las personas. Objetivos: Elaborar un diagnóstico de la accesibilidad de 34 espacios públicosprivados de la ciudad de Temuco. Materiales y Métodos: Se diseñó para este fin un instrumento tipoficha que permitió registrar las observaciones hechas en terreno teniendo incorporados los criteriosde accesibilidad contemplados en la legislación y normativa vigente, y aquellos recomendados porespecialistas internacionales que van más allá de la norma chilena. Resultados: Se obtuvieron datosobjetivos que permitieron realizar un análisis de accesibilidad de índole cuantitativo y cualitativorepresentativo de la ciudad que ilustra la realidad actual de la capital regional de la novena región. El instrumento permitió anexar fotografías y recomendaciones para mejorar la accesibilidad, sistematizandode forma ordenada y gráfica la información. Conclusiones: Desde un enfoque holístico se dan pautas de zona de atención al público, ascensor y aseos públicos a los requerimientos y capacidades de personascon discapacidad.Palabras Clave: Ingeniería humana, personas con discapacidad, estructuras de acceso, Chile. Method of accessibility valoration.ABSTRACTIntroduction: The ergonomics can contribute to job design, environments and systems to make them compatiblewith needs, abilities and limitations of people. In response to the current needs and the challenge that are facingdesigners and ergonomists to facilitate and improve the quality of life of people. Objectives: Elaborate a diagnosisof the accessibility of 34 public and private spaces of the city of Temuco. Materials and Methods: We designedfor this purpose an instrument type record card that allowed recording observations made in the field, havingincorporated accessibility criteria under the laws and regulations actives, and those recommended by internationalexperts who go beyond the Chilean norm. Results: Objective data were obtained that allowed an analysis ofaccessibility of quantitative and qualitative nature representative of the city that illustrate the current reality of theregional capital of the Ninth region. The tool enables to attach photographs and recommendations for improvingaccessibility, systematizing the information in an orderly and graphical way. Conclusions: From a holistic approachare given guidelines to ensure the fit and adequacy of the enclosures observed in the dimensions of environment,entry, customer service area, elevators and public toilets the needs and abilities of people with disabilities.Key words: Human engineering, disabled persons, architectural accessibility, Chile | es-ES |
