dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo propone la implementación de un Objeto Virtual de Aprendizaje para la asignatura de Operaciones Unitarias II usando el aula virtual de aprendizaje Moodle, con el objetivo de motivar y reforzar el conocimiento de los estudiantes en el tema de absorción y desorción en torres de platos y empacadas, haciendo uso del concepto de aprendizaje hibrido que permite incluir las tecnologías de información y comunicación (TIC) en los procesos de enseñanza de la Universidad Industrial de Santander. Para el desarrollo de la herramienta se tuvo en cuenta el concepto de Objeto Virtual de Aprendizaje (OVA), sus componentes, los diferentes tipos o estilos de aprendizaje y las funcionalidades de Moodle para determinar las estrategias pedagógicas a implementar. Seguidamente se organizaron los contenidos de estudio en la plataforma Moodle de forma que se apreciaran dinámicamente y motiven al aprendizaje, incluyendo los componentes propios de un OVA. Una vez finalizado el diseño de la herramienta se implementó en el grupo O1 de la asignatura Operaciones Unitarias II durante el segundo semestre de 2021, conformado por 43 estudiantes.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present work proposes the implementation of a Virtual Learning Object for the subject Unit Operations II using the Moodle virtual learning classroom, with the aim of motivating and reinforcing the students' knowledge on the subject of absorption and desorption in tray towers and packaged towers, using the concept of hybrid learning that allows information and communication technologies (ICT) to be included in the teaching processes of the Industrial University of Santander. For the development of the tool, the concept of Virtual Learning Object (VLO), its components, the different types or styles of learning and the functionalities of Moodle were taken into account to determine the pedagogical strategies to be implemented. Next, the study contents were organized on the Moodle platform in such a way that they could be appreciated dynamically and motivate learning, including the components of an OVA. Once the design of the tool was completed, it was implemented in group O1 of the Unitary Operations II subject during the second semester of 2021, made up of 43 students.
