dc.descriptionRESUMEN Hoy día la Universidad se ha convertido en un referente válido en el marco local de desarrollo, al mismo tiempo que en un elemento aglutinador y factor de convergencia de todos los implicados en la dinámica del proceso de desarrollo. Por ende, en espacios como el que envuelve a las regiones en desarrollo, la forma como se aproximen estas instituciones a su entorno debe ser considera como punto crítico del accionar universitario. Esta situación se ha materializado en el surgimiento de iniciativas de intercambio y relación entre la Universidad y su entorno geográfico de referencia, tanto en el área de la docencia como en el de la investigación. La Universidad ha adquirido un mayor protagonismo y presencia directa en su ámbito de actuación, potenciando y enriqueciendo las actividades que se dan en su entorno, especialmente las directamente relacionadas con las actividades productivas, lo que está influenciando positivamente la dinámica de desarrollo de muchos espacios en donde esta converge, así como el crecimiento de la institución misma. Para que una Universidad genere influencias directas sobre la sociedad, que trasciendan la formación profesional o la investigación “enclaustrada” entre los muros de la institución requiere, entre otras cosas, recursos, participación universitaria y altos niveles de conciencia. A continuación se definen pautas a seguir por las universidades para lograr mayor participación en los procesos propios de regiones en desarrollo en torno a fases que determinan su transformación en gestores de desarrollo regional. PALABRAS CLAVE: Universidad, Dinamización, Participación, Desarrollo, Interrelación.   ABSTRACT Today the University has become a valid referring within the local development framework, at the same time be a convergence factor of all the implied ones in the dynamics of the development process. Therefore, in spaces like which involve it the developing regions, the way that institutions approach to surroundings must be considers like critical point of driving university. This situation has been materialized in interchange initiatives and relation between the University and its geographic surroundings, as much in the teaching area also in investigation area. The University has acquired a main roll and direct performance, harnessing and enriching the activities that success in their surroundings, specially those related to the productive activities, influencing positively the dynamics of development of many spaces in where its converges, as well as the growth of the same institution. So that a University generates direct influences on the society, that extend the professional formation or investigation “between the walls” of the institution requires, among other things, resources, university participation and high conscience levels. Next guidelines are defined to follow by the universities to obtain greater participation in the own processes of regions developing around phases that determine their transformation in managers of regional development. KEYWORDS: University, Dinamics Systems, Participation, Development Interrelationship.es-ES
