dc.description.abstractDiversas teorías sobre el proceso de adquisición y aprendizaje de una segunda lengua, se han desarrollado durante los últimos 50 años; su objetivo ha sido tratar de describir el proceso que sigue un individuo al desarrollar su competencia comunicativa en segunda lengua. Estas teorías trataron de describir cómo los errores afectan el proceso de aprendizaje, ya que estos son el reflejo de la interferencia causada por la lengua nativa del aprendiz, motivo por el cual deben evitarse en las producciones del aprendiz. Gracias al desarrollo de las teorías de Interlenguaje de Selinker, Adjemian y Tarone, el concepto de interferencia cambia, y se empieza a buscar los motivos por los cuales esta se da. De ahí que cobre importancia el papel que cumple la lengua materna en el aprendizaje de una segunda lengua, y cómo la misma afecta el Interlenguaje desarrollado por los aprendices. El trabajo de investigación realizado presenta el análisis de errores hecho a 26 trabajos escritos de cuatro estudiantes de pregrado de la Universidad Industrial de Santander - pertenecientes al programa de Inglés "Propuesta UIS"-, en el cual se trata de identificar y describir los errores cometidos por dichos estudiantes, y así determinar el grado de interferencia presente en estos, y tratar así de determinar cuál es la causa para que esta se presente en el proceso de aprendizaje de la lengua Inglesa.
dc.description.abstractenglishSome theories about the process of acquisition and learning of a second language have been developed during the last 50 years; their objective has been trying to describe the process followed by a person who tries to develop his communicative competence in a second language. These theories attempted to describe how errors can affect the learning process, due to the fact that they show the interference caused by the learner's native language, so that they should be avoided. Due to the development of some Interlanguage theories, as those proposed by Selinker, Adjemian and Tarone, the interference concept started changing, in order to find the causes why this is produced. For that reason, it is important the role that the native language has in the learning process of a second language, and the way how this affects the Interlanguage development of the learners. The research work attempts to present the error analysis made to 26 written works wrote by 4 students of the Universidad Industrial de Santander, who belong to the English program "Propuesta UIS"; in this specific work the errors made by the students were identified and described in order to determine the degree of Spanish interference presented. Then it was necessary to define the possible cause that made Interference appears in the process of English learning
