dc.descriptionEl análisis de atributos AVO, basado en modelos geofísicos, física de roca y modelado sísmico se ha convertido en una herramienta importante en estudios de proyectos de exploración petrolera, ayudando a reconocer zonas de posible interés comercial. Desafortunadamente se ha reconocido que es difícil hacer una discriminación de rocas saturadas con gas comercial (mayores a 50%) de aquellas con bajo contenido, llamado Gas fizz (1-10 %) utilizando exclusivamente el análisis AVO (Amplitud Vs Offset), en el cual se ha reportado fracasos en la literatura donde el gas fizz ha sido fuente de interpretación errónea de indicadores de hidrocarburos comerciales.   Palabras claves: Substitución de fluidos; análisis AVO; gas fizz; registros de pozos.      ABSTRACT   The Analysis of the AVO attributes based on geophysics models, rock physics and seismic modeling, has become an important tool in the study of the exploration projects, helping to recognize zones with possible commercial interest. However, it is recognized the difficulty in the discrimination between the rocks saturated with commercial gas (over 50%) and those with a low content of gas, namely Fizz Gas (1-10%) using the AVO analysis exclusively; several failures are reported on the literature where the Fizz Gas has lead into a wrong interpretation of the commercial hydrocarbons markers.   Keywords: fluid substitution, AVO analysis, Gas fizz, well log.es-ES
