dc.descriptionRESUMEN En el presente trabajo, se evalúa el comportamiento de varias formulaciones de PVC (que incluyen un estabilizante térmico y un óxido metálico), determinando su respuesta a la degradación térmica y fotoquímica mediante envejecimiento artificial acelerado. Los óxidos evaluados fueron óxido de aluminio, titanio, calcio, zinc, magnesio y bismuto. Las probetas fueron expuestas en cámara de envejecimiento durante 11000 horas. El proceso de envejecimiento incluyó exposición a radiación ultravioleta, simulación de lluvia, aire seco y aire húmedo. Después de expuestas, las probetas fueron sometidas a pruebas para determinar cambios en, el comportamiento mecánico y químico de compuesto. ABSTRACT In this work the mechanical and chemical behavior of several PVC compoundings were tested, (including a thermal stabilizer and a metallic oxide), in order to determine the effects to thermal and photochemical degradation. The oxides tested were aluminum oxide, titanium oxide, zinc oxide, calcium oxidem bismuth oxide and magnesium oxide. The probes were exposed in an aging device during 1000 hours. The aging process included ultraviolet radiation exposition, rain simulation and wet and dry heating. After the exposure time was completed, the probes were tested for determining the changes in the mechanical and chemical behavior of the compounding.es-ES
