Contact angles in the hydrophobicity and superhydrophobicity regime were obtained for the adapted Wenzel and Cassie-Baxter equations, respectively. With this, there is a theoretical basis for the subsequent development of coatings in order to mitigate the corrosion of different components in the industry.
