Abstract
Description
This work proposes to analyze the relations between Foucault’s work and the historical materialism from two complementary levels: while the principal methodological differences inrelation to Marx takes place inside a critical exhibition of the archaeological method (wich relegates it as a mere exponent of the Nineteenth-Century philosophy) and of the genealogical one (where there is a positive valuation of some aspects of The Capital), as to Marxism the differences must be completed by an historical exhibition in which Foucault realizes a “genealogy of the Marxism” while he analyzes the way in which this one intervened in certain historical - political processes.
