dc.description.abstractHalliburton es una empresa multinacional proveedora de servicios y productos en el sector de gas y petróleo, la cual comprende catorce líneas de servicio de productos (PSL); la línea de servicio en la que se desarrolló la práctica empresarial es la de cementación, encargada de aislar hidráulicamente los pozos con cemento o abandonar un pozo que culminó su vida productiva. Para realizar el abandono o aislamiento hidráulico de un pozo la compañía diseña y adapta lechadas de cemento con aditivos específicos para cumplir con los requerimientos del cliente; sin embargo, se han contemplado puntos de mejora acerca de la gestión de inventarios y lotes de los aditivos utilizados en la línea que retrasan las tareas del área de preparación de recursos y ocasionan duplicidad en diversas tareas. La metodología de la práctica se llevó a cabo en tres etapas que darían cumplimiento a cada uno de los objetivos específicos, en la primera etapa se realizó un diagnóstico de la situación actual del inventario para identificar los posibles puntos de mejora, diferencias en el inventario físico y el sistematizado (SAP) y las condiciones de los materiales; en la segunda etapa se evaluó la situación actual de la gestión de inventario y en base a los puntos de mejora identificados anteriormente, como etapa final se evaluaron las posibles alternativas de gestión de inventario. Finalmente se estableció el control de lotes en SAP siendo esta la alternativa más efectiva y ajustada a las necesidades de la línea de cementación en la compañía.
dc.description.abstractenglishHalliburton is a multinational company that provides services and products in the oil and gas sector, which includes fourteen product service lines(PSL); The internship took place in the cementing line, in charge of hydraulically isolating the wells with cement or abandoning a well that has completed its productive life. To carry out the abandonment or hydraulic isolation of a well, the company designs and adapts cement slurries with specific additives to accomplish the client's requirements; however, points of improvement have been contemplated regarding the management of inventories and batches of the additives used in the line that delay the tasks of the resource preparation area and causing duplication in different tasks. The methodology of the practice was carried out in three stages that would fulfill each of the specific objectives, in the first stage a diagnosis of the current situation of the inventory was made to identify the possible points of improvement, differences in the physical inventory and the systematized, and the conditions of the materials; In the second stage, the current situation of inventory management was evaluated and based on the improvement points previously identified, possible inventory management alternatives were evaluated. Finally, batch control was established in SAP, this being the most effective alternative and adjusted to the needs of the cementing line in the company.
