dc.description.abstractProyecto de grado que tiene como objetivo diseñar un OVA como recurso tecnológico virtual para la enseñanza del tema de la Huella de Carbono a en estudiantes de ingeniería química con quienes se implementó y se evaluó en cuestiones como: apropiación del conocimiento, uso y pertinencia como recurso para el aprendizaje. Las motivaciones e intereses para realizar un proyecto de grado sobre esta temática surgen del hecho de que en la actualidad el mundo y la humanidad se enfrentan a fenómenos climáticos, el calentamiento global, el efecto de las emisiones de Gases de Efecto Invernadero (GEI). En este sentido la reducción de la huella de carbono es uno de los métodos para lograr metas ambientales propuestas en distintas cumbres mundiales: Rio de Janeiro, Tokio, París, entre otras. A nivel metodológico el proyecto es descriptivo, enfoque cualitativo y diseño de investigación aplicado. Se diseñó un OVA, que consta de cuatro (4) módulos: Introducción a la huella de carbono; normatividad y evolución histórica; medición de la huella de carbono y reducción de la huella de carbono. La evaluación del OVA reporta que es útil y pertinente para los propósitos del aprendizaje y construcción del conocimiento, la modificabilidad cognitiva y la integración de las TIC como recurso para el aprendizaje.
dc.description.abstractenglishDegree project that aims to design a OVA as a virtual technological resource for teaching the topic of the Carbon Footprint to former chemical engineering students with whom it was implemented and evaluated on issues such as knowledge appropriation, use and persistence as a resource for the learning, the motivations to carry out a degree project on this topic arise from the fact that currently the world and humanity are facing climate phenomena, global warming, the effect of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, the carbon footprint and its reduction, as one of the methods to achieve environmental goals proposed at different world summits: Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, Paris, among others. At a methodological level, the project is descriptive, qualitative approach and applied research design. An OVA was designed, which consists of four (4) modules: Introduction to the carbon footprint; Regulations and historical evolution; Measurement of the carbon footprint and reduction of the carbon footprint. The evaluation of the OVA reports that it is useful and relevant for the purposes of learning and knowledge construction, cognitive modifiability, and the integration of ICT as a resource for learning.
