Reproducibilidad de parámetros morfométricos de nervio óptico entre hrt III y oct 3 en una población adulta hispana en Bucaramanga, Santander - Colombia

| dc.description.abstract | Determinar la reproducibilidad de los diferentes parámetros morfométricos entre HRT III y OCT 3 en adultos evaluados por el área diagnóstica del departamento de glaucoma de la FOSCAL. Diseño: Evaluación de tecnología diagnóstica , muestreo transversal y recolección de datos retrospectiva. Participantes: 77 pacientes evaluados durante el período 2006-2007 a quienes se les realizó en conjunto tanto OCT como HRT . Metodología: Posterior a la selección de pacientes se procedió a la revisión de los diferentes parámetros morfométricos . En el caso del HRT los exámenes en versión II fueron convertidos a versión III. Posterior a esto se identificaron los parámetros bajo los cuales se podía establecer el grado de acuerdo , siendo los siguientes: Área de Disco mm² , Área de la Copa mm² , Área del Anillo mm² Índice Copa/Disco y la relación Índice Copa /Disco vertical obtenido por OCT con el Índice Lineal Copa /Disco obtenido por HRT. Resultados: Se evaluaron un total de 154 ojos . Excepto por el valor del área del anillo, todos los valores determinados por OCT son mayores. El área del Disco mm² es el parámetro que presentaba mejor reproducibilidad entre las dos tecnologías. El área del Anillo y la relación Índice Lineal Copa/Disco –Índice Copa/Disco Vertical son los que presentaban mejor acuerdo. CONCLUSIÓN: 1.Existe un considerable rango de diferencias en la estimación de parámetros morfométricos determinados por OCT y HRT, siendo la mayoría de los mismos mayores por OCT. 2.A pesar de la correlación moderada entre los parámetros, existe un amplio rango y dispersión considerable a nivel de los límites y gráficas de acuerdo por lo que se concluye que las medidas no son comparables. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | To determine reproducibility of the different morphometric parameters between HRT III y OCT 3 in adults evaluated by the diagnoses area of the FOSCAL glaucoma department. Design: Diagnoses technology evaluation transversal sampling and retrospective data collection. Participants: 77 patients evaluated during the period 2006-2007 underwent OCT and HRT. Methodology: Subsequent to the selection of patients , the revision of the different morphometric parameters was done. In the case of the HRT, the examinations in version II were changed to version III. After identified the parameters under which could be established the agreement degree such as : Disc area mm² , Cup area mm² , Rim area mm² ,Cup to Disc area ratio , Cup to Disc Vertical ratio, in OCT to relation Linear cup /Disc ratio in HRT. Results: 154 eyes were evaluated. Except by the average value of the Rim Area, all the values obtained with OCT are greater. Disc Area mm² is the parameter that displayed better reproducibility between the two technologies. The Rim area and Linear Cup/Disc Ratio – Cup/Disc Vertical Ratio are the parameters with better agreement. CONCLUSIÓN : 1.Exists a considerable range of differences in the estimation of morphometric parameters with OCT and HRT being most with exception of Rim area the greater by OCT . 2.Although the correlation between parameters is moderate ,there exist a range and substantial dispersion at level of the limits and agreement graphics reason why concludes that the measures are not comparable. | |
