Este artículo aborda, desde los escritos de Walter Benjamin, la peculiar forma del autor de pensar la intervención política práctica desde el lugar de los intelectuales. Para esto, hemos elegido debatir sobre algunas de las figuras del héroe en la modernidad sobre las que trabaja Benjamin en sus lecturas de Baudelaire, haciendo hincapié en la disyuntiva entre el hombre de acción (Blanqui) y el de sueño (Baudelaire); la inclusión de ambos en la bohemia y como conspiradores. Nos deslizaremos sobre la hipótesis de que hay en Benjamin una suerte de vuelta a los tiempos de la conjura, y que ésta se da en soledad.
This article discusses Walter Benjamin’s peculiar concept of the practical political intervention from the perspective of intellectuals. In order to do this, we have chosen two of the figures of modern heroes that Bejamin works with in his reading of Baudelaire, emphasizing the dilemma between the man of action (Blanqui) and the man of sleep (Baudelaire), the inclusion of both in the bohemia and as conspirators. We’ll suggest the hypothesis that there is, in Benjamin’s work, a sort of return to the times of conspiracy, and that conspiracy occurs in loneliness.
