dc.descriptionThis article starts with a question: What can literature do as to those events in the past related to pain? In order to construct an answer, the nodal points of the Derridean theory of the archive are revised. Within this theory the concepts of reste, ruin, cinder, trace, biodegradability, monstrosity, spectre, inheritance, literature, archive fever and democracy-to-come cooperate both in the deconstruction of totalizing searches and also in the foundation of a new policy of the archive and of memory in a dialogue with literature - that discourse which, renouncing to speak from the truth, obtains another kind of power with which it gathers strength.en-US
dc.descriptionEste artículo se abre con una pregunta: ¿Qué puede la literatura respecto de aquellos sucesos del pasado ligados al dolor? Para construir una respuesta se revisan los puntos nodales de la teoría del archivo producida por Jacques Derrida desde la filosofía. Teoría en la que los conceptos de resto, ruina, ceniza, huella, biodegradabilidad, monstruosidad, espectro, herencia, literatura, mal de archivo y democracia por venir cooperan tanto en la desconstrucción de búsquedas totalizantes como en la fundación de una nueva política del archivo y de la memoria en diálogo con la literatura: ese discurso que, renunciando a hablar desde la verdad, gana otro poder desde el que construye su fuerza.es-ES
