dc.descriptionThis article demonstrates from the historical representations, the didactic approaches and the artistic creations, the historic role that the actions carried out by both people from Socorro in 1871 and the illustrated individuals in 1810, still have in the pro-independent imaginary of Santander’s people. These practices are evidenced in cultural products such as historical review academic projects, the new historiography produced by students and professors of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and even, the significant experiences of educational institutions when adopting the themes and problems associated with the bicentennial of independence as a reference for review, projection and transformation of the patriotic regional imaginary.Keywords: Colombia, Independence, Socorro, Revolution.en-US
dc.descriptionEl artículo demuestra desde las representaciones históricas, las aproximaciones didácticas y las creaciones artísticas el papel histórico que las acciones de las gentes comunes del Socorro en 1781 como las gentes ilustradas de 1810 siguen teniendo en el imaginario independentista de los santandereanos. Siendo evidenciadas esas prácticas en productos culturales como los proyectos académicos de revisión histórica, las nuevas producciones historiográficas de estudiantes y docentes de educación superior, e incluso, las experiencias significativas de las instituciones educativas al adoptar los temas y problemas asociados con el bicentenario de la independencia como referente de revisión, proyección y transformación del imaginario patriótico regional.Palabras clave: Colombia, Independencia, Socorro, Revolución.  es-ES
