Abstract
Description
From a region between Bogotá and Guaduas seventeen Cretaceous samples were studied. In the lower part (Hauterivian) the terrigenous materials are the predominant. In the Middle Albian, Radiolaria are present giving a predominious of the pelagic regime. In the Turonian and Coniacian, facies with more litoral character appear with the presence of benthonic Foraminifera which alternate with pelagic facies. The pelagic series of Bogotá do not represent too deep deposits.
