| dc.description.abstract | Industrias LAVCO Ltda, fabrica camisas centrifugadas a nivel industrial y es la única empresa en Colombia que suministra para las compañías petroleras más importantes, los cilindros centrifugados para los grandes motores estacionarios de bombeo de crudo, entre cuyas aplicaciones más importantes están las líneas Allen y Sulzer, sin embargo, estas piezas presentan defectos como poros y manchas, que incide en el numero de rechazos y en demoras en el tiempo de entrega. El objetivo de este trabajo es establecer los factores causantes de la aparicion de defectos de fundición en las camisas centrifugadas en la linea industrial, y para lograrlo, se realizaron un analisis de las variables que intervienen en el proceso y pruebas de caracter operativo, como modificaciones en el sistema de llenado y en el contenido de silicio en la fundición. Los análisis de metalografía óptica, SEM y DRX permitieron establecer la naturaleza de las fases presentes, la forma y distribución de los defectos. El estudio de estos defectos permitieron concluir que: la variable de mayor influencia en la aparición de los defectos es el sistema de llenado y en segundo término, la preparación y la aplicación del unto merece especial cuidado y debe ser lo más estable térmicamente posible para impedir el desprendimiento del material. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | LAVCO Industries Ltda, manufactures shirts centrifuged to industrial level and is the only company in Colombia which provides for the most important petroleum companies, the cylinders centrifuged for the big stationary engines of pumping crude oil, between whose more important applications are the lines Allen and Sulzer, nevertheless, these pieces present faults as pores and blemishes, which affects in the number of rejections and delays in delivery of time. The objetive of this work is to establish the factors behind the appearance of defects of foundry in shirts centrifuged in the industrial line, and to achieve it, there was realized an analysis of the variables involved in the process and operational test character, as modifications in the filling system and the silicon content in the smelting. The analyses of optical metallography, SEM and DRX allowed to establish the nature of the present phases, shape and distribution of defects. The study of these defects allowed conclude that: the variable of grater influence in the appearance of defects is the filling system and in the second term, the preparation and application of unto deserves special care and must be as stable possible to prevent the detachment of the material. | |
