dc.descriptionEn este trabajo se evalúa la aplicabilidad real del método denominado de "seudorraíces" para originar valores "mejorados" para los factores de compresibilidad, obtenidos a partir de las ecuaciones de estado cúbicas (polinomios de tercer grado), durante el cálculo de presiones de saturación en la región crítica de mezclas de hidrocarburos multicomponentes y en la zona de transición crítica ó hipercrítica del gradiente composicional presente en ciertos yacimientos de petróleo. Se encontró que el método de seudorraíces incrementa ostensiblemente las probabilidades de convergencia y reduce, en forma apreciable, las posibilidades de convergencia a las indeseables soluciones triviales (fases en equilibrio de igual composición).    es-ES
