dc.descriptionRESUMENLas adolescentes enfrentan  situaciones difíciles debido a  la  información ambigua  que  reciben  del  entorno  escolar  y  familiar  y  los  medios  de comunicación,  acerca  del  manejo  de  su  sexualidad.  Esta  realidad  trae problemas  de  alto  riesgo  como  el  aumento  de  embarazos  precoces  e indeseados,  el  contagio  de  infecciones  de  transmisión  sexual  (ITS),  el aborto,  entre otros, que  les  crea una  imagen negativa de  su propia vida y  de  las  relaciones  con  el  entorno. Esta  investigación  intenta  responder a: ¿Cómo se teje el imaginario de las adolescentes frente a la sexualidad?.La  investigación  se  realizó  en  una  institución pública de  una  población ribereña  del  departamento  de  Santander, Colombia.  Se  abordó  desde  el enfoque  cualitativo,  con  la metodología  historias  de  vida  paralelas.  Se trabajó con seis estudiantes, madres adolescentes, y con otros participantes de  la  comunidad  educativa  a  fn  de  contextualizar  la  problemática. Dentro  de  los  hallazgos  relevantes,  se  encuentra  que  la  curiosidad,  el enamoramiento  y  la  vivencia  de  un  ambiente  familiar  confictivo  son factores desencadenantes para iniciar la actividad sexual a temprana edad. También, se encontró poca apropiación del concepto de sexualidad y falta de preparación de los docentes en su proceso de formación.Palabras clave: Adolescencia, embarazo a temprana edad, educación para lasexualidad.Sexuality  and  adolescence:  Beyond  life storiesABSTRACTTeenagers  face  diffcult  situations  due  to  the  ambiguous  information  they receive  from  school,  family  and  the media  about  the management  of  their sexuality.  This reality brings high-risk problems such as the increase in early and unwanted pregnancies, the spread of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and abortion among others that create a negative image of their own life and their relationships with the environment.  This research seeks to answer: How is the imagery of teenagers towards sexuality woven?The  research was  conducted  at  a  public  institution  in  a  coastal  population of  the department of Santander, Colombia.    It was approached qualitatively, with  the methodology of parallel  life  stories.   We worked with  six  students, teenage mothers, and with other participants in the educational community to contextualize  the  problem.   Among  the  relevant  fndings,  it was  found  that curiosity, infatuation, and the experience of a confictive family environment are factors that trigger the initiation of sexual activity at an early age.  Likewise, there was  little ownership of  the  concept of  sexuality  and  a  lack of  teacher preparation in the educational process.Key words: Adolescence, early pregnancy, sexuality education.es-ES
