dc.descriptionABSTRACTThe present work provides elements to structure a more precise definition of the literary genre to which the text by Diderot Jacques le Fataliste corresponds. Among such elements one might notice the author's attempt to differentiate himself from the narrator, the appearance of a novel by the issue, and the addition to the original text of new episodes which fulfill existing blanks; the presence and analysis of some of the most outstanding signs in the text; the explicit relationship with the reader; the receptivity of first readers to the text and finally the relationship between knowledge and power which underlies the text.en-US
dc.descriptionRESUMENEl texto entrega algunos elementos que permiten una definición más precisa del género literario al que corresponde el texto de Diderot: Jacobo el fatalista y su amo. Entre ellos se destacan, el intento de diferenciación entre el autor y el narrador del texto; el proceso de aparición de la novela por entregas y la adición al texto original de nuevos episodios que llenan las lagunas existentes; la presencia y análisis de algunos de los signos más sobresalientes en texto; la relación explícita con el lector; la recepción del texto entre los primeros lectores y finalmente la relación entre el saber y el poder que subyacen al texto.  es-ES
