Resumen En el presente documento se pretende justificar la necesidad de desarrollar investigaciones para comprender cómo los actores de un espacio urbano se representan a si mismos como ciudadanos, dentro de las relaciones yo-tú, y desde la comprensión del funcionamiento de los discursos de apropiación de las normas en los ámbitos educativos. Para ello, se propone a la semiótica como espacio de investigación que posibilita asumir las manifestaciones sígnicas de diversa naturaleza, bien sea como enunciados o como discursos, con unas claves de interpretación para la producción del sentido y la construcción de las representaciones colectivas. La pregunta por las representaciones de la ciudadanía en el espacio urbano contribuirá a comprender los dispositivos y hábitos interpretativos que se actualizan en las relaciones conflictivas de la cotidianidad.
Summary The intention of this document is to justiry the need to develop research that leads to the comprehension of how the actors, within a urban environment, represent themselves as citizens. This can be done through the relationships I-you; also having in mind the comprehension of the functioning of the speech of appropriation of the education environment norms. In order to achieve this, semiotics is proposed as the investigation field that makes it possible to assume the signic manifestations of diverse nature, either as announced statements or as speeches. Such manifestations make use of sorne clues of interpretations for the production of sense and the construction of collective representations. The question for the representations of citizenship in the urban environment contributes to the comprehension of the mechanisms and interpretative habits that become actual in the conflictive relationships of the everyday life.
