dc.descriptionThis article is an approximation to the interpretation of the female heroic figure in Sophocles, from a study of his works. The human condition determines the level of present heroism in the characters; the present dimensions of nobility and villainy in the being distinguished both heroes and heroines. To realize an investigation on the heroine sophoclean allows to contemplate the value of the woman for the author, in such a way that there can be adopted the idea of which, for his enormous distance with the hero and the force of his erotic affections, the poet prefers the woman to enrich his works, without attributing them, though apparent it, a small role.en-US
dc.descriptionEste artículo es un acercamiento a la interpretación de la figura heroica femenina en Sófocles, a partir de un estudio de sus obras. La condición humana determina el nivel de heroicidad presente en los personajes; las dimensiones de nobleza y vileza presentes en el ser distinguen tanto a héroes como a heroínas. Realizar una indagación sobre la heroína sofoclea permite contemplar la valía de la mujer para el autor, de tal manera que puede adoptarse la idea de que, por su enorme distancia con el héroe y la fuerza de sus afecciones eróticas, el poeta prefiere a la mujer para enriquecer sus obras, sin atribuirles, aunque ello aparente, un papel pequeño.es-ES
