The search allowed to study documents where is state the physical phenomena that describe the seismicity with anthropogenic origins, and establish the main variables that can cause an induced or triggered seismic activity. Colombia is beginning the investigative pilot tests of multistage hydraulic fracturing through horizontal wells in generating rocks, which are necessary to clarify the community of Colombia the doubts and the real risks involved in the application of this technique. The present project hopes to clarify some points about the belief that exists in the generation of earthquakes by the use of this technique.
