RESUMEN Este trabajo presenta un nuevo método lineal para estimar la cantidad de petróleo y gas in situ en yacimientos naturalmente fracturados (YNF). Mediante la inclusión tanto del gas disuelto como del aceite volatilizado fue posible superar las limitaciones de los métodos para el balance de materia en YNF existentes en la literatura, obteniéndose una única ecuación aplicable a todo tipo de fluido de yacimiento incluyendo aceite volátil, gas y condensado. ABSTRACT This work presents a new straight line method to estimate the original oil and gas in place in naturally fractured reservoirs. By including both dissolved gas and volatilized oil was able to overcome the long standing limitations of the material balance in naturally fractured reservoirs resulting in a unique material balance equation wich is applicable to full range of reservoir fluids including volatile oils and gas –condensated systems Keywords: naturally fractured reservoirs, conventional reservoirs,generalized equation, material balance, initial volume, in situ fluids,dissolved gas, volatile oil.
