dc.description.abstractenglish | In this work, a multiobjective topology optimization procedure (called AOTMOH algorithm) that minimizes the weight and strain energy (simultaneously) of planar truss structures is developed ® software. The results obtained suggest that the developed optimization procedure can be very useful and have a significant impact, thus contributing to the progress and development of topology optimization methodologies, whose application in the design of trusses structures (e.g. transmission towers) can reduce design costs, making a more efficient use of materials, improving structural performance, automating the design process with reasonable computing times, and generating innovative geometries for this type of structures, of great importance for civil engineering. | |
