dc.description.abstractenglish | The synthesis of carbon nanostructures with fluorescent properties has become a novel research field with multiple applications such as markers in bio images and optical biosensors. In that sense, the implementation of new efficient, versatile and non-polluting synthesis methods such as microwave-assisted hydrothermal synthesis is of great interest since NCs can be obtained from natural carbon sources such as oats. Under these considerations, the synthesis was made from a dispersion of oat flakes (50 g / L) previously crushed using a route of hydrothermal synthesis at different temperatures (150, 180, 190 and 200 ° C) and reaction times of 15, 30, 60 and 90 minutes. The polymeric agent, KH-792, was used in a mass ratio of 1: 3, 1: 5 and 1: 7 (KH-792 / oatmeal) as a stabilizer. NCs were characterized using fluorescence spectroscopy, dynamic mode light scattering (DLS), UV-Vis, Zeta potential, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR-ATR). The results showed that the NC obtained at 200 ° C and 90 minutes of reaction exhibited greater fluorescence intensity between 400-430 nm. Additionally, the fluorescence observed in NC-KH792 in a 1:7 ratio was significantly more intense compared to that emitted by NCs without KH-792. The quantum yield was 1.5 times higher in the NC-KH792. These systems were dried to evaluate their solid-state photoluminescent properties, which showed an increase in fluorescence intensity of 75,000 counts concerning the intensity observed in NCs without KH792 also in the solid-state. *
