dc.description.abstractEste proyecto está basado en el estudio ddepartamento de Santander, el cual es producto de las excavaciones para las vías terciarias presentes en el lugar, aplicando los conocimientos geológicos, ingenieriles y geotécnicos adquiridos durante la maestría en Geotecnia. Se analizó la estabilidad del talud debido a que se observaron problemas de caídas de rocas, erosión superficial y algunos deslizamientos, el cual se ve afectado principalmente en las épocas de temporadas de lluvias, asociado a la falta de manejo de aguas de escorrentías, utilizando los modelos de equilibrio limite y de elementos finitos. Para lo cual se propusieron obras de mitigación, enfocadas al control de aguas lluvias por medio de obras hidráulicas, y al reforzamiento de las posibles superficies de falla con obras geotécnicas, las cuales debían cumplir con los factores de seguridad mínimos establecidos por la NSR-10, ya que este se encuentra sobre una vía de acceso importante, la cual presenta zonas de alta complejidad estructural, ocasionando mayor meteorización en las rocas aflorantes y junto con las altas precipitaciones, generan inestabilidad geológica. Esto nos permite contribuir al conocimiento de la región para mejorar la transitabilidad, debido a su influencia directa con el desarrollo socioeconómico del departamento.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis project is based on the study of the slope located in the sector "the casino", of the municipality of california in the department of Santander, which is product of the excavations for the tertiary roads present in the place, applying the geological, engineering knowledge and geotechnical acquired during the master's degree in Geotechnics. The stability of the slope was analyzed due to the fact that problems of rock falls, surface erosion and some landslides were observed, which is affected mainly in the seasons of rainy season, associated with the lack of runoff water management, using the Limit equilibrium and finite element models. To this end, mitigation works were proposed, focused on the control of rainwater by means of hydraulic works, and the reinforcement of the possible fault surfaces with geotechnical works, which had to comply with the minimum safety factors established by the NSR-10. , since this is on an important access road, which presents areas of high structural complexity, causing greater weathering in the outcropping rocks and together with high rainfall, generate geological instability. This allows us to contribute to the knowledge of the region to improve the passability, due to its direct influence with the socio-economic development of the department.
