dc.descriptionRESUMEN   La enseñanza y el aprendizaje de las Ciencias Sociales en el siglo XXI requiere asumir cambios estructurales asociados con el diagnóstico de los estilos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes, la adopción de las estrategias científicas de cada ciencia en el aula de clase, la adopción de las innovaciones pedagógicas basadas en la formación por competencias y la incorporación de las TIC como fuentes y recursos para la reflexión crítica del saber.   Palabras clave: ciencias sociales, enseñanza, aprendizaje, tecnologías de la información y la comunicación   SUMMARY   The teaching and learning of the Social Sciences in century XXI require to assume structural changes associated with the diagnostic of the styles of learning of the students, the adaptation of scientific strategies of each science in the classroom, the adoption of the pedagogic innovations based in the basic formation for competences and the incorporation of the ICT as sources and resources for critic reflection of the knowledge.
