dc.descriptionRESUMEN En este artículo analizaremos el paradigma del arte de tejer, centrándonos especialmente en Político 277d–278e, y la metretikè téchne (283b-285d), deteniéndonos en la exposición sobre la destrucción de las artes y la política (284 a-d), para concluir conectando el hilo de esta interpretación con 305c-311d. Tejer caracteres consiste, al fin y al cabo, en formar los irracionales individuales para combinarlos después hábilmente: la tela política está hecha de tendencias humanas justamente orientadas y rectamente ajustadas unas con otras. Las acciones políticas, análogas a las del tejedor, imitan las operaciones dialécticas, ya que consisten en unir y separar correctamente, en tejer la unidad de la ciudad, es decir, la unidad política de la virtud. Palabras clave: Platón, político, paradigma, arte de tejer, virtud.  es-ES
dc.descriptionABSTRACTIn this article we will analyze the paradigm of the art of weaving. We will focus on Plato’s Statesman, 277d-278, and on the metretikè téchne (283b-285d). There we will connect Plato’s discussion on the destruction of Arts and Politics (284a-d), with 305c-311d. To weave characters means to inform irrational individuals to skillfully combine them later on: political weaving is done by fairly pointing and aligning of human trends one to another. Political actions, analogous to those of the weaver, imitate the dialectical operations, for they consist in correctly joining and separating, in weaving the unit of the city, that is, the political unit of the virtue.Key words: Platón, statesman, paradigm, art to wear, virtue. en-US
