dc.description.abstractLa presente monografía como modalidad de trabajo de grado para la especialización en Química ambiental, tiene como finalidad identificar y caracterizar los impactos ambientales sobre el recurso agua, ocasionados por la generación de lixiviados debido a la degradación de los residuos sólidos en los rellenos sanitarios, todo ello se realiza mediante la aplicación de métodos de estudio cuantitativos y cualitativos con el fin de llegar al origen de la problemática actual. A su vez la metodología a utilizar se orientó en tres etapas para el cumplimiento de la misma, en primer lugar se identificaron los tipos de lixiviados generados en los rellenos sanitarios. Como segunda etapa se identificaron y evaluaron los impactos ambientales que generan los lixiviados de los rellenos sanitarios, sobre el recurso agua mediante la metodología Leopold de causa y efecto. Y por último se definieron las diferentes acciones de mitigación para los impactos ambientales generados sobre el recurso agua, por los lixiviados de los rellenos sanitarios. Los resultados esperados con el desarrollo de este estudio son positivos, pues permiten la creación de un referente para la toma de decisiones que beneficien al medio ambiente, en relación a los impactos que los lixiviados generan sobre el recurso agua. Y también que alimentan una de las líneas de investigación dentro de las temáticas de profundización en la Especialización en Química Ambiental de la Universidad industrial de Santander.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present monograph as a work modality of degree for the specialization in Environmental Chemistry, has the purpose of identifying and characterizing the environmental impacts on the water resource, caused by the generation of leachates due to the degradation of the solid waste in the landfills, all This is done through the application of quantitative and qualitative study methods in order to arrive at the origin of the current problem. At the same time, the methodology to be used was oriented in three stages for the fulfillment of the same, in the first place the types of leachate generated in landfills were identified. As a second stage, the environmental impacts generated by leachates from sanitary landfills were identified and evaluated on the water resource through the Leopold methodology of cause and effect. And finally, the different mitigation actions were defined for the environmental impacts generated on the water resource, by the leachates from landfills. The results expected with the development of this study are positive, because they allow the creation of a reference for decision making that benefits the environment, in relation to the impacts that leachates generate on the water resource. And also that they feed one of the lines of research within the themes of deepening in the Specialization in Environmental Chemistry of the Industrial University of Santander.
