dc.description.abstractEste proyecto está enfocado en evaluar el desempeño de la herramienta Check Valve PCP en los pozos del campo Casabe en que fue instalada, con el fin de la conocer las ventajas y los beneficios obtenidos durante la prueba tecnológica, y así determinar el escenario operacional adecuado en el mismo campo para aumentar la implementación de la herramienta. Para esto, se realizó una revisión bibliográfica contextualizando el tema realizando una descripción del campo Casabe y sus generalidades; seguido de esto se realiza una recopilación de los conceptos asociados al sistema PCP haciendo énfasis en los problemas por manejo de arena y el efecto del back spin, para luego presentar la tecnología ABS-Tool describiendo su funcionamiento y los aportes de la herramienta según las especificaciones del fabricante. La evaluación técnica del desempeño de la herramienta, se realizó estudiando el comportamiento de cada uno de los pozos tanto antes como después de instalada la ABS-Tool, esto con el fin de establecer un comparativo de desempeño y así extraer los resultados obtenidos de la prueba tecnológica. Como parte del proyecto, se seleccionan de una base de datos tres pozos del campo que mejor se ajustan a los criterios y a las recomendaciones extraídas de la sección anterior, se realizó el respectivo análisis de la situación original de cada uno de los pozos y se realiza el análisis financiero para una situación con la ABS-Tool instalada.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis project is focused on evaluating the performance of the Check Valve PCP tooL IN THE Wells OF Casabe field that IT was installed with the aim of know the advantages and the profits made over the technology test, and determine the appropriate operational scenario the same field to increase the implementation of the tool. For this, a literature review contextualizing the issue by performing a description of Casabe field and its generalizations are made; this followed by a collection of concepts associated with PCP system is done with an emphasis on sand handling problems and the effect of back spin, and then present the ABS-Tool technology describing its operation and input of the tool according to specifications manufacturer. The technical evaluation of the performance of the tool is made by studying the behavior of each of the wells both before and after the ABS-Tool installed, this in order to establish a comparative performance and thus extract the results of the test technology. As part of the project, are selected from a database of ECOPETROL, three wells of the field that best meet the criteria and recommendations from the previous section, the respective analysis of the original situation of each of the wells was conducted and performed financial analysis for a situation with the ABS-Tool installed.
