dc.description.abstractenglish | In some fields, where there are a large number of wells, the water cut at the well head is measured by means of specific samples of fluid taken manually and then taken to the laboratory, which generates uncertainty in the measurement, in addition to having very little water cut data per day for each point. Given that generally there is a Coriolis type meter to measure the mass flow of production wells, a procedure was developed in this grade work that allows calculating the water cut using fluid properties tables and a Coriolis type meter . The water cut can be calculated through fixed or flexible formulas, however, this work focused solely on the use of flexible formulas.
