dc.descriptionApuntes sobre semiótica en tipografíaEntender la tipografía en su dimensión lingüística y visual permite reconocer el alto valorcomunicacional que manifiestan sus características visuales. Estas últimas, al funcionar como manifestación del mensaje lingüístico, establecen una relación de correspondencia, entre significante y significado, dando cuenta de un valor semiótico que manifestaría lo plástico. En este sentido, a partir de un análisis de lo plástico, la propuesta de Groupe μ da cuenta que, aunque lo plástico no se encuentra plenamente codificado, sí permite establecer una serie de significados que subyacen en las cualidades plásticas de la tipografía.Palabras clave: Semiótica, lingüística, imagen visual, plástica, diseño.Notes on semiotics of typographyUnderstanding typography in its linguistic and visual dimensions allows realizing the high communicational value expressed by its visual features. These latter, functioning as amanifestation of the linguistic message, create a correspondence relationship between thesignifier and the signififed, accounting for a semiotic value that represents the plastic.
