dc.descriptionSíntesisEl presente artículo señala aspectos centrales de la revolución científica y filosófica realizada por Galileo y Descartes en el siglo XVII. Con Galileo nace un lluevo método para el estudio y la interpretación de la naturaleza, y con el mecanismo cartesiano se logra la desacralización del mundo, ofreciéndose al hombre la posibilidad de crear nuevos modelos para la exploración y el dominio de la naturaleza con las consecuencias ecológicas y humanas que vemos hoy, después de dos siglos de revolución industrial. En el artículo se muestran algunos de los límites y dificultades que ofrecían los modelos Galileano y Cartesiano, y se ahoga por una concepción más holista, que permita el reencuentro del hombre con la naturaleza.es-ES

With Galileo borns a new method te study and interpret the nature and cartesian mecanismn desacralize the world, giving the man the posibility to create new models for the exploration of the world and the domination on it, with the ecologycal and human consequences that we see today, after two centuries of industrial revolution. This article shows some limits and difficulties that offered the Galíleos and Descartes models and defends a more integral conception, which makes posible remeeting of man with nature.en-US
