| dc.description.abstract | El presente documento describe en forma didáctica los principales aspectos del gas natural como potencial en la producción de petroquímicos finales. Se evalúa el aprovechamiento del gas natural como materia prima para la producción del polietileno en Colombia y otros países; y se analiza la aplicabilidad del etano y los beneficios de este en la industria del polietileno teniendo como referencia los diferentes procesos que deben desarrollarse a fin de salvaguardar esta riqueza natural para que las generaciones futuras también lo disfruten. La declinación de los actuales campos de producción de gas natural de altde etano en la zona central (Payoa, Provincia y Opón) obliga a pensar en el gas Cusiana como fuente alterna. Adicionalmente el altde etano presenta un excelente potencial petroquímico en este gas, siendo el de mejores prospectivas a nivel país. Desde este punto de vista no tendría ninguna presentación quemar este gas con alto valor petroquímico como gas doméstico en los grandes centros urbanos, existiendo alternativas que le generarían un mayor desarrollo y beneficio para el país, mediante la recuperación previa del etano y el posterior envió a las redes de gas natural de una gas menos rico en etano, produciendo al final el mismo beneficio social y el correspondiente aporte al desarrollo de la industria petroquímica. Nos encontramos ante una situación que requiere una acción inmediata tanto por parte del sector privado como del sector oficial para generar nuevos puestos de trabajo y disminuir así el desempleo actual. De darse la inversión privada el desarrollo de una nueva planta de polietileno promoverá la conformación y establecimiento de nuevas industrias de procesamiento de plásticos, que generarían nuevos empleos de una manera directa e indirecta. Adicionalmente y teniendo en cuenta las proyecciones del mercado se podría visualizar la factibilidad de construir una planta de polietileno de alta densidad ó lineal de baja densidad que son lo que mayor proyección de crecimiento presentan en el actual mercado, lo cual acarrearía una sustitución inmediata de importaciones y un gran desarrollo a la economía del país | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | The present document describes in didactic form the main aspects of the natural gas like potential in the production of petrochemical end. The advantage of the natural gas like raw material for the production of polyethylene in Colombia and other countries is evaluated; and one analyzes the applicability of the ethane and the benefits of the this in the industry of polyethylene having like reference different processes that must be developed in order to safeguard this natural wealth so that the future generations also enjoy it. The declination of the present fields of natural gas production of high content of ethane in the central zone (Payoa, Province and Opón) forces to think about the gas Cusiana like alternating source. Additionally, the high content of ethane presents an excellent petrochemical potential in this gas, being the one of better prospective at level country. From this point of view it would not have any presentation to burn this gas with high petrochemical value like domestic gas in the great urban centers, existing alternative that would generate a greater development to him and benefit for the country, by means of the previous recovery of the ethane and the later one in the end sent to the natural gas networks of a less rich gas in ethane, producing the same social benefit and the corresponding contribution to the development of the petrochemical industry. We were before a situation that as much requires an immediate action on the part of the sector deprived as of the official sector to generate new jobs and to diminish therefore present unemployment. To occur to the private investment the development of a new polyethylene plant it will promote the conformation and establishment of new industries of plastic processing, which would generate new uses of a direct and indirect way. Additionally and considering the projections of the market the feasibility could be visualized to construct to a polyethylene plant of lineal HD or of low density that are what greater projection of growth displays in the present market, which would carry a substitution immediate of imports and a great development to the economy of the country. | |
