| dc.description.abstractenglish | Economy global does that companies small and mediums found opportunities for save productioncosts as strategy to raise a position prominent at market. Due to the high costs of electric energyand deterioration of environment it’s necessary to take actions aimed at decreasing inadequate useof natural resources. In this way, inefficiencies in production processes must found and corrected. From the above considerations emerged the needs to consolidate a more exact understandingabout energy consumption and to adopt a systematic procedure. It shall consist in procedures todiagnose, evaluate and analyze the flows of energy in the elements of the system under study,including a thermoeconomic analysis. This project shows thermoeconomy like a tool to quantify theenergetic impact in the pumping systems and to evaluate efficient use of energy by means of anexergetic balance. The more common strategy for inspecting, diagnosing and evaluating the use and effective controlof electric energy has been energetic management. However, at the moment of identifyingopportunities for saving energy in great detail, it is necessary to look for different alternatives thatoffer a higher level of analysis in all production processes. With the objective of establishing a RUE plan, the following steps have been adopted: Collection oftechnical data and system characteristics, Identification energetic centers in the process, Obtentionof production schemes, Deaggregation of system into the necessary number of elements,Identification of exergetic flows in the system, Performing measurements of exergetic flows,Identification of exergetic losses in the system, Calculation of exergetic costs of flows, Economicevaluation of exergetic costs, Elaboration of RUE plan proposal and Make a financial evaluation(Barbosa and Jiménez-06), (Bonilla-06), (Diaz-06), (Gonzalez and Salazar-06), (Osma-06) and(Posada and Theran-06). | |
