dc.description.abstractLa evolución de la Ginecología y la Obstetricia como especialidad clínica, se logró en gran medida en la primera mitad de la década de 1900. A partir de este momento, los líderes académicos de la especialidad exigieron la comprobación científica de los principios que fundamentan la práctica obstétrica y ginecológica y la necesidad de plasmar los avances médicos y científicos en textos de aprendizaje. Para facilitar el acceso y el entendimiento de esta área de la medicina, se plantea la publicación de un texto actualizado, referenciado e ilustrado del lenguaje de la ginecología y obstetricia, que incluye la definición de términos relacionados con las diferentes áreas de la disciplina y la fácil comprensión de los mismos. El Diccionario de Ginecología y Obstetricia ilustrado y referenciado, proporciona una amplia información en un lenguaje claro y sencillo de los términos relacionados con el área y temas afines, al mismo tiempo que permite la ampliación de los mismos mediante la búsqueda de las diferentes referencias actualizadas para cada uno de los términos mencionados. Este proyecto se plantea como el primer diccionario de ginecología y obstetricia ilustrado y referenciado escrito en idioma español y se propone como proyecto teniendo en cuenta los parámetros establecidos en el Reglamento de Postgrado, Título IV, Capítulo III, Artículo 64: “todo candidato a especialista realizará un trabajo de grado individual de PROFUNDIZACION o INVESTIGACION”. Esta publicación es considerada dentro del espectro de los trabajos de grado de tipo profundización. Con la publicación de este texto esperamos aportar una herramienta para el proceso de aprendizaje y la comprensión del área de la ginecología y la obstetricia a través de la definición actualizada y referenciada de los diferentes términos relacionados con el área.
dc.description.abstractenglishGynecology and Obstetrics evolution as a clinic specialty occurred largely in the first half of the 1900’s decade. From that moment on, the academic leaders of the specialty demanded the scientific prove of the principals that are the basics for practical Gynecology and Obstetrics and the need to translate the medical and scientific breakthroughs into learning books. To ease the access and understanding of this area of medicine, the publication of an updated text arises, references and illustrated about gynecology and obstetrics, that includes the definition of terms related to different areas of this discipline and the easy understanding of the aforementioned. The Illustrated and Referenced Gynecology and Obstetrics Dictionary, provides extensive information in clear and simple language of the terms related to the area and associated subjects, and at the same time allows the enlargement of the aforesaid through the search of the different updated references for each one of the terms mentioned. This project arises as the first illustrated and referenced gynecology and obstetrics dictionary written in Spanish and it’s proposed as a project taking into consideration the established parameters in the Postgraduate Regulation, Title IV, Chapter III, and Article 64: “every candidate to specialist will do an individual graduation paper of DEEPENING or RESEARCH”. This publication is considered within the spectrum of the deepening graduation papers. With the publication of this text we hope to bring a tool for the learning process and the understanding of the gynecology and obstetrics area through the updated and referenced definition of the different terms related to this subject.
