dc.description.abstract	El presente documento corresponde al informe de la práctica empresarial desarrollada en el marco del proyecto “Mejoramiento de la infraestructura urbana y calidad ambiental del Paseo España”, ejecutado en el municipio de Bucaramanga, Santander, como parte de las estrategias de fortalecimiento del espacio público y la movilidad peatonal promovidas por la administración municipal. El proyecto contempló la intervención de la carrera 26, entre las calles 32 y 37, mediante obras de pavimentación, renovación de redes de servicios públicos, señalización vial y mobiliario urbano. Desde el año 2024, la supervisión técnica del proyecto estuvo a cargo de la Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), a través del Grupo de Investigación en Geomática, Gestión y Optimización de Sistemas, responsable de adelantar las labores de interventoría. En este contexto, la estudiante se integró al equipo de trabajo en calidad de auxiliar de ingeniería civil, desarrollando actividades propias de la práctica empresarial orientadas al fortalecimiento de sus competencias profesionales y al cumplimiento de los requisitos académicos para la obtención del título de Ingeniera Civil. Durante la práctica se realizaron actividades asociadas al seguimiento técnico y administrativo de la obra, tales como visitas diarias a campo, registro fotográfico, mediciones y verificación del cumplimiento de especificaciones técnicas, elaboración de informes técnicos semanales y mensuales, y apoyo en la gestión de la correspondencia del proyecto. Adicionalmente, se desarrolló el modelo BIM del tramo intervenido mediante la metodología Building Information Modeling (BIM), integrando redes hidráulicas, eléctricas, señalización vial y mobiliario urbano, a partir de información topográfica y documentación técnica suministrada por la interventoría. El desarrollo de estas actividades se apoyó en la aplicación de buenas prácticas de gestión de proyectos propuestas por el Project Management Institute (PMI), especialmente en la gestión del alcance, cronograma, costos, calidad y comunicaciones. El uso de herramientas como Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel y Word contribuyó al control técnico, documental y financiero del proyecto, fortaleciendo la formación integral de la practicante en el ejercicio de la interventoría de obras civiles.
dc.description.abstractenglish	This document presents the report of the business internship carried out within the framework of the project “Improvement of Urban Infrastructure and Environmental Quality of Paseo España”, developed in the municipality of Bucaramanga, Santander, as part of the municipal strategies aimed at strengthening public space and pedestrian mobility. The project involved the intervention of Carrera 26, between 32th and 37th Streets, through pavement works, renewal of public utility networks, road signage, and urban furniture. Since 2024, the technical supervision of the project has been conducted by the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), through the Research Group in Geomatics, Management and Systems Optimization, responsible for the implementation of the construction supervision activities. In this context, the student joined the supervision team as a civil engineering assistant, performing activities related to the business internship, focused on strengthening professional skills and fulfilling the academic requirements to obtain the Civil Engineering degree. During the internship, activities related to technical and administrative monitoring of the project were conducted, including daily site visits, photographic records, field measurements, verification of compliance with technical specifications, preparation of weekly and monthly technical reports, and support in project correspondence management. Additionally, digital modeling of the intervened section was developed using the Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodology, integrating hydraulic and electrical networks, road signage, and urban furniture based on topographic data and technical documentation provided by the supervision team. These activities were supported by the application of project management best practices proposed by the Project Management Institute (PMI), particularly in scope, schedule, cost, quality, and communications management. The use of tools such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Word contributed to the technical, financial, and documental control of the project, strengthening the comprehensive professional training of the intern in the field of civil works supervision.
