dc.description.abstract	El laboratorio de Validación y Metrología es un área de la Unidad Estratégica de Negocio, Bioingeniería, de la Fundación Cardiovascular de Colombia (FCV), el cual se dedica a prestar servicios de calibración, chequeo y verificación de equipos biomédicos tanto a clientes internos (equipos propios de la FCV) como clientes externos que soliciten el servicio. La finalidad de este proyecto es diseñar e implementar la programación de calibración de equipos biomédicos de clientes internos, así como herramientas que garanticen el control de la prestación de los diferentes servicios que ofrece el laboratorio, con miras a mejorar la gestión administrativa de la organización y por ende el servicio que se presta al cliente. Para conocer el estado real de la organización se realizó un diagnóstico general pudiendo analizar las oportunidades de mejora que se implementarían con la ejecución del proyecto. Se logra re-diseñar el proceso de la prestación de servicios, medir tiempos de servicios, estimar capacidades instaladas y utilizadas, implementar herramientas de control y crear indicadores de gestión, que al ser retroalimentados a los directivos y operarios del laboratorio mediante reuniones y capacitaciones, se consigue cumplir a cabalidad los objetivos planteados en el proyecto. El libro finaliza con las conclusiones que surgen de la aplicación de las diferentes herramientas, así como con las recomendaciones que se dan a todo el personal del laboratorio con el fin de garantizar la continuidad del uso de las mismas.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The Validation and Metrology Laboratory is an area of the Business Strategy Unite, Bio-engineering, of the Cardiovascular Foundation of Colombia (FCV), which is dedicated to give service of calibration, check and verification of biomedical equipment to the internal clients (equipments belong to the FCV) and external client who ask about the product. The propose of these project is to design and implement the programming of the calibration of biomedical equipment of internal clients as well as tools to guaranty the control in the provision of different services that sell the Laboratory, to improve the administrative management of the organization and consequently the service that is sold to the client. To know the real state of the organization was made a general diagnostic in which was possible analyze the improvement opportunities that will be implemented with the execution of the project. Is achieved redesign the process of the provision of services, measurement times of calibration services, estimate installed and used capacities, implement control tools and create management indicators, that when they will be feedback to the managers and employees of the laboratory by meetings and training, is achieved totally get the objects of the project. The book ends with the conclusions that appear of the application of the different tools, as well as the recommendations that is given to the personal of the laboratory with the goal of guaranty of continue of use of same.
