dc.description.abstract	Las Ciencias Naturales nos ayudan a reconocer las características del mundo que nos rodea, necesitan tener una enseñanza que favorezca en los estudiantes su aprendizaje y manejo de las competencias científicas. Al realizar un análisis de las pruebas a las cuales Colombia se ha vinculado a nivel internacional y nacional, permite ver que este país está por debajo del promedio, lleva a reflexionar en la necesidad de mejorar las estrategias y demás actividades brindadas en la educación. El proyecto “La investigación dirigida como propuesta didáctica para fortalecer las competencias científicas en estudiantes de octavo grado de una institución pública de Bucaramanga” pretende implementar la investigación dirigida como propuesta didáctica que fortalezca el desarrollo de competencias científicas en estudiantes de octavo grado. Para recolectar la información primero se analizaron las pruebas saber de la institución, luego se elaboró y aplicó una entrevista semiestructurada y una prueba validada a los estudiantes de este grado. Los resultados mostraron bajos niveles de desempeño que llevaron a reflexionar en las estrategias de aprendizaje y demás actividades brindadas en la educación. El diseño metodológico cualitativo tuvo un enfoque de Investigación-Acción por medio de la investigación dirigida, dividida en cuatro fases: diagnóstico, diseño del modelo didáctico fundamentado en investigación dirigida, implementación del modelo didáctico y evaluación que permitieron determinar los alcances para favorecer el desarrollo de competencias científicas y analizar el impacto en la práctica docente al implementar la investigación dirigida. La investigación permitió brindar herramientas para plantear situaciones problémicas, delimitarlas al estudiar en grupo los escenarios con apoyo bibliográfico y emprender una labor científica para crear estrategias de resolución y análisis que permitan construir planteamientos, realizar comparaciones, contrastación con información teórica o experimental y así poder aplicar los nuevos conocimientos adquiridos a nuevas situaciones.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The Natural Sciences help us to recognize the characteristics of the world that surrounds us, that’s the reason why it need to have a teaching that favors in the students, their learning and management of scientific competences. After developing an analysis of the tests presented by Colombia at international and national level, it allows to see that the country is under the average, leading to a reflection on the need to improve the strategies and other activities offered in education. The project "Research directed as a didactic proposal to strengthen scientific competencies in eighth grade students of a public institution of Bucaramanga" aims to implement research directed as a didactic proposal that strengthens the development of scientific skills in eighth grade students. In order to collect the information, first the knowledge tests of the institution were analyzed, then a semi structured interview and a test validated to the students of this degree were elaborated and applied. The results showed low levels of performance that led to a reflection on learning strategies and other activities provided in education. The qualitative methodological design had a Research-Action approach through directed research, divided into four phases: diagnosis, design of the didactic model based on directed research, implementation of the didactic model and evaluation that allowed determining the scope to favor the development of scientific competences and analyze the impact on teaching practice when implementing directed research. The research allowed us to provide tools to raise problem situations, delimit them by studying in groups of scenarios with bibliographic support and undertake scientific work to create strategies for resolution and analysis that allow to construct approaches, make comparisons, contrast with theoretical or experimental information and thus be able to apply the new knowledge acquired to new situations.
