dc.description.abstract	En un estudio geotécnico hay diversos componentes que se relacionan entre sí, con el fin de brindar información sobre los factores del subsuelo que pueden llegar a afectar la integridad de las obras planteadas, así mismo las recomendaciones a tener en cuenta y las medidas a implementar como solución; para esto se requiere la visita inicial del sitio en estudio, la ejecución de una exploración de campo y posteriormente el análisis de laboratorio y el trabajo de oficina en la elaboración del informe geotécnico, el cual debe recopilar y enseñar de forma organizada los datos obtenidos del material de fundación y medidas a tener en cuenta a la hora de construir. El presente documento muestra las actividades realizadas en la práctica empresarial como auxiliar de ingeniería en el área de geotecnia en la empresa ALICON & ING S.A.S durante los meses de febrero a mayo de 2018; período en el cual, se apoyó la ejecución de actividades del laboratorio de suelos como la recepción de muestras, el lavado de material sobre el tamiz no.200 para el análisis granulométrico, el tamizado de muestras para ensayos de límites de Atterberg y su realización. Además, se participó en dos visitas de campo y se efectuaron labores de oficina como la elaboración del capítulo de exploración de campo, el apoyo en el cálculo de capacidad portante y asentamientos inmediatos, y otras tareas relacionadas al diseño geotécnico de obras. Al final se presenta las generalidades de cada proyecto.
dc.description.abstractenglish	In a geotechnical study there are several interrelated components, in order to provide information on the soil factors that can affect the integrity of the projects presented, as well as the recommendations to be taken into account and the measures to be implemented as a solution; for this, the initial visit of the study site is required, the execution of a field exploration and the preparation of the geotechnical office work report, which must be collected and teach in an organized way the data obtained from the foundation material and measures to take into account at the time to build buildings. This document shows the activities carried out in the business practice during the months of February to May 2018 as an assistant in the geotechnics area at ALICON & ING S.A.S Company; period in which, the support was given in the execution of soil laboratory activities such as samples reception, washing of material on the sieve No.200 for the granulometric analysis, sieving of samples for Atterberg limits tests and their realization. In addition, the participation in two field visits and office work was done as the preparation of the field exploration chapter, support in the calculation of carrying capacity and immediate settlements, and other tasks related to the geotechnical works designing. At the end, the generalities of the projects are presented.
