dc.description.abstract	La energía como principal impulsor de la economía mundial se rige medianteestándares de Seguridad Energética que carecen de una apropiación de índices y estrategias encuanto a su rol en el mercado global de energía; razón por la cual este proyecto de grado pretendeestablecer los parámetros de Seguridad Energética que debe poseer un país ante una eventual crisisenergética debido a los riesgos geopolíticos y garantizar un suministro estable de los recursosfortaleciendo la resiliencia, eficiencia y producción local que permita consolidar el mercado deenergía de un país. Por estas razones se hace necesario la revisión de los índices existentes en elmarco energético colombiano y a nivel mundial, así como también estudiar como se rige la actualmatriz energética de Colombia en cuanto a los principales combustibles como lo son el gas natural,el petróleo y el carbón y posteriormente revisar también como ha sido el avance que ha tenidoColombia en materia de seguridad energética, mediante fuentes existentes de información como loes la UPME, y analizar qué tan vulnerable es y que tan resiliente ha sido el país en los últimos añospara identificar las áreas de oportunidad e implementar nuevas estrategias que fortalezcan el sistema energético del país.
dc.description.abstractenglish	Energy as the main driver of the world economy is governed by standards of EnergySecurity that lack an appropriation of indexes and strategies regarding its role in the global energymarket; which is why this bachelor’s thesis aims to establish the parameters of Energy Securitythat a country should have in the event of an energy crisis due to geopolitical risks and to ensure astable supply of resources by strengthening the resilience, efficiency and local production toconsolidate the energy market of a country. For these reasons, it is necessary to review the existingindices in the Colombian energy framework and worldwide, as well as to study how the currentenergy matrix of Colombia is governed in terms of the main fuels such as natural gas, oil and coaland subsequently review also how Colombia has progressed in terms of energy security, throughexisting sources of information such as the UPME, and analyze how vulnerable it is and howresilient the country has been in recent years to identify areas of opportunity and implement new strategies to strengthen the country's energy system.
